2. Guidelines for Criteria

  • Novelty, originality, usefulness, potential for development
    • The findings described in the paper are to be unpublished.
    • The findings described in the paper are novel.
    • The findings described in the paper are to provide useful information that has technological and academic value.
    • In a case that the paper was submitted as short communications: Although presently the findings are not sufficient for original paper, they are expected to have a potential of future development.
  • Coherence of argument
    • The purpose of the study is clear, and the background and the discussion has been thoroughly considered citing prior papers.
    • The rationale, point of argument, methods, materials, etc. are reasonable and there is no gap between the results and the conclusion.
    • The problem to be solved as written in the purpose is clearly stated in the results and conclusion.
  • Reliability of the paper
    • Experimental methods and experimental materials are clearly described, and allow reproduction of the findings if conducted according to the descriptions.
    • The interpretation of data is appropriate and logical.
  • Degree of completion of the paper
    • The paper is consist of verifiable or reasonable results and is completed as a paper.
